“Boutonniere” is a comfortable sailing yacht designed by the famous Dutchman Pieter Beeldsnijder. She was initially built for a Swedish owner. He sailed the ARC in 1992. The current owner bought the yacht in 1994 in the USA. He has since cruised and lived on board much of the time. Throughout his ownership he has continually upgraded and improved the yacht and in particular has placed her through two substantial refits. In 2001 in Thailand the rig was refitted. In 2006 in Marmaris, Turkey the deck was renewed. Further works were done during each refit, before and since.
