Built at Bloemsma & Van Breemen Custom Yachts in Makkum to the drawings of Hoek Design Naval Architects at Edam and launched summer 2002.An ocean going cruiser/racer designed for racing in venues like St. Martin, Antigua and St. Tropez, as well as long distance cruising and charter in mind. Contrary to many similar designs, this yacht has been designed not only with performance in mind for racing, but also with safety and comfort in mind for cruising and passage making. She is a light to medium displacement yacht with a lift keel, aluminium hull, carbon spars and carbon rudder.
A flush deck, sleek deckhouse and a good leisure cockpit, as well as separate racing cockpit create a good looking racing yacht. However, the leisure cockpit with tables as well as the deckhouse with navigation station and deck salon for cocktails with a view will also create a perfect cruising yacht. The dinghy and ‘toy’ storage in the transom, a bimini, as well as many other features necessary for comfortable cruising are incorporated as well.
The yacht has two guest cabins, a large open galley, deckhouse, as well as a lower saloon with a video area and dining table. The interior of the yacht is finished in tasteful cherrywood and is equipped with all gadgets that makes life enjoyable , from large flatscreen TV and DVD,Playstation, to waterski’s, wake boards and jetski. Extensive satellite communications provide a link with the outside world for those who wish to continue business.
