During the 2003 refit ORA 1 received brand new all stainless railings,**   a new fiber glassed top/boat deck with new non-skid and new varnish work.     Additionally a full boat cover was made for the boat, enclosing her from the radar arch right down to a foot above the waterline. This can be considered as the next best thing to a boat house.

Also in 2003 the engines have been extensively serviced by Finnings Diesel professional mechanics, including the timing and rebuilding the turbos. ORA 1 received a full make-over in the galley in 08/2004.

The settee was built new with up to date fabrics and styling. The galley countertop has been replaced with an entirely new Corian counter top, with large built-in double sinks. The cabinet doors have been replaced with doors providing a fresh new and modern appearance.

The entire yacht also received brand new high quality carpets throughout. Over the winter ('04/'05) ORA 1 received new hot water plumbing. Several heat exchangers now produce domestic hot water and hot water for interior heating. The boat can be entirely heated by engine or gensets, as well as from the webasto diesel furnace.
