In September of 2000, EdgeWater PowerBoats packed-up its home for the last five years and moved into a spacious, modern production facility in EdgeWater, Florida. With over 3 times the production space, the new plant enables EdgeWater to develop and produce a greater diversity of high quality models.
The development process starts with designing boats that meet the stresses of fierce environmental forces, yet endure for generations. Then, engineer the latest techniques and materials to build a Cutting Edge boat that provides its owner with an enjoyable, trouble-free life on the water.
NO WOOD, structural or non-structional, is used. Only the finest high tech materials are engineered in to each EdgeWater such as high-strength coring for decks and hull sides, high-density fiberglass composite no-rot transoms, exceptionally strong compression resistant plates for fastening t-tops, bow rails, cleats, sun-top hardware and rod holders, along with the newest multi-directional knitted fiberglass fabrics for greater strength and durability under demanding sea conditions.
In fact, in the short time EdgeWater models have been in the market place they have formed a new industry standard by which high quality fishing/utility boats are judged.
