Benetti Yachts

Benetti Yachts come from a long-standing builder in the business, based out of Darsena, Italy. In 1873, Lorenzo Benetti opened the Benetti shipyard, and in 1954 Fratelli Benetti focused the business on motor and sailing yachts. By 1985, Paolo Vitelli, owner of Azimut, took over the shipyard as Azimut-Benetti. Different lines of Benetti yachts are made from composite materials, and steel. Benetti yachts range in size from 99 feet for a composite to 229 feet and beyond for steel construction. The shipyards have been recognized for six consecutive years by Showboats International Magazine as "shipyard number 1," and Azimut-Benetti was ranked number one by Yachts International Magazine. The Best New Semi-Production Series award was also given to the Benetti Vision series yachts.
