Our first large boat with a rudder separted from the keel, PALAWAN III was the state of the art in her time. A member of the victorious 1969 US Admiral's Cup Team in Cowes, she is a fast, seakindly boat, ready for cruising and ocean passages. She is Coast Guard Certified to carry 24 passengers, and is currently operating out of Portland, Maine. It would be possible to continue this business. Her self tacking jib and spacious decks with cushions make her an ideal day boat.
