The J-39 is a well respected, fast racer that is well suited for PHRF and the growing IRC racing rules. With a PHRF rating of 51, the J-39 can get an IRC certificate without an official measuring. FastLane's interior is mostly original with the exception of a modest V-berth and quarter-berth added to make her a racer/cruiser now capable of sleeping up to seven. This could be an ideal boat to race IRC in distance racing or PHRF beer can racing on a Wednesday night. With a little more work she could be made even more comfortable for the cruiser with a need for speed.
